Tire: Perfect grip Prevent slip

Tire a very important component of any vehicle with lot of functions. It’s a ring shaped rubber covering around wheel for making grippe contact of wheel on road. When filled with compressed air, Tire support the vehicle on road, Delivers braking and driving forces to the road and absorb the shock for better driving comfort.

Tires are made up of synthetic or natural rubber along with fabrics for strength and wires for beads.

Tread of tire plays a vital role in tire selection. It comes directly in contact with road. For better delivery of braking and driving forces, there are certain kind of trade patterns according to tire usages. Rib Type tread patter has better skid resistance along with high stability. This kind of tire are suitable for paved roads and are often used for front tire of two wheelers. Block Type tread pattern have individual blocks in its tread and are best for uneven surface and bad road conditions. This kind of tire are used in off road riding and dirt biking adventures.  Rib-Block type tread pattern are combination of both rib and block tread and have better stability at both paved and unpaved surfaces. This kind of tire are unidirectional and have good gripping feature at various road conditions.

Apart from this tire is classified by its air filling type i.e. Inner tube tires and Tubeless tires. Inner tube tire have a balloon type tube inside the tire which holds the air whereas in Tubeless tire, a thin layer of rubber is present in inner linear of tire holds the air inside the tire. Tubeless tire require less maintenance over tube tire and have good puncture resistance quality (not deflate suddenly in case of a puncture). Now a days tubeless tires have higher demand in market.

For perfect performance of tire and vehicle, maintaining correct tire pressure is very necessary.  At lower tire pressure, tire in under inflated (More tire surface is in contact with road) causing high rolling resistance between tire and road. This leads to premature wear of tire with high overheated tires, high consumption of fuel, poor power, wheel wobbling and less control on vehicle. At high tire pressure, tire is over inflated (reduced surface area of tire in contact with road) making it more rigid and stiff on roads. This leads to a bumpy, uncomfortable ride, uneven tire wear and especially reduces grip which is more dangerous.

It is always advised to check your tire pressure once in a week in cold condition.
