Skirted Fenders… Yes Introduction of Indian trademark of huge fenders introduced in 1940 with Sport Scout. This motorcycle with a light frame, girder forks and very first time fitted rear suspension(from 1941) made a vivid impact on the street. Its 744cc 42°v-twin engine, with improved carburation and alloy cylinder heads gives it fine handling with lively acceleration. Its salvage to Indian’s reputation continued late after its production had ended in 1942, winning Class C races at late 1956.
